Singapore PR Application Process

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore has introduced important changes to the Permanent Residency (PR) application process, effective from 26 June 2024. These updates aim to streamline procedures and enhance the overall efficiency of the application system.

From this date forward, all PR applications must be submitted entirely online, simplifying the process for applicants. Below are key highlights of the updated requirements:

  • Form 4A is now discontinued and no longer part of the application process.
  • The Annex A form, previously required to provide company information, is also no longer applicable.
  • Applicants must now submit detailed family information for both applicants and non-applicants, enabling a more comprehensive review of familial connections.
  • The validity period for the Employment Letter has been extended to three months, offering greater flexibility in document preparation.
  • For self-employed individuals, submission of company financial information and a valid business registration certificate is now mandatory, ensuring transparency and financial credibility.Singapore PR
